Role Overview: As one of our Event Managers, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing TEDx events from start to finish. Together with a team you’ll oversee logistics, manage timelines, and ensure smooth operations, making sure every detail contributes to an unforgettable experience for our speakers and audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate in planning and execution of TEDx events (Conference, Salons, …), ensuring all logistics are organized and deadlines met (venue, catering, ticketing, stage,...)
Coordinate with internal teams (technical, marketing, speakers, partnerships,...) and external vendors
Manage event timelines, budgets, and checklists to keep projects on track
Oversee event setup, on-site operations, and breakdown
Ensure compliance with TEDx guidelines and event safety protocols
Support speaker management, volunteer coordination and audience engagement activities
Requirements:
Strong interest in event planning, project management or a related role (volunteer or professional)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication skills & at least basic German skills

You’ll plan and organize Get-Togethers, both independently and in collaboration with partners, companies, or like-minded organizations. Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and execute community Get-Togethers and informal meet-ups (plan activities, promote on Website and across community channels, prepare venue, overlook the event, handle post-event tasks,...)
Collaborate with partners, companies, and organizations for co-hosted events
Foster online engagement through platforms like Meetup and other community channels
Develop strategies to grow and maintain an active, engaged TEDxLinz community
Act as the main point of contact for community members, gathering feedback and insights
Work closely with the event, marketing, social media and content teams to align community activities
Requirements:
Strong interest in community management, event planning, or engagement roles
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both online and in person

Role Overview: As our Technical Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of our TEDx events. This role ensures seamless audio, video, lighting, and IT operations, creating an exceptional experience for both speakers and attendees.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with speakers, performers, moderators and the event team to understand technical needs
Work closely with venue staff and external technical vendors to ensure smooth operations
Coordinate all media shown at the event (powerpoint slides, videos, audio,...) and create operating plan
Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and efficiently during events
Manage post-event technical processes, including video editing coordination for TEDx video submission
Maintain and organize technical equipment as needed
Requirements:
Strong interest in technical event production (audio, video, lighting, or IT support)
